LOL... clearly your dishonesty or stupidity continues. Rumsfeld consulted with many and the consensus occured. Iraq was an outstanding military success and the rebuilding is going well.

Clearly your stupidity continues.

"Positive sign of progress in Iraq"? Where? Are you insane? What positive signs are there except that full-blown all-out civil war hasn't started - yet. This Bush occupation of Iraq has been a total disaster, and a quagmire to boot. Nothing we do can really work now. We're just praying the whole place doesn't explode.

Get a clue. Bush-Cheney's dishonesty in terms of making a case to invade Iraq is impeachable and bad enough, but on top of that they totally failed to prepare for anything after the initial invasion except ripping off Iraqi oil profits using Halliburton. They are an inept gang of corporate stooges who care more for lucrative defense deals than US troops or US security.

Bush-Cheney had no plan to guard Saddam's ammo dumps, no plan to stop looting, no government to replace Saddam's with, no body armor for the troops and Humvees, not enough allies, no UN peacekeepers, almost no moderate Arabs on our side, not nearly enough US troops to handle a country and size of Texas and no pressing reason to be there in the first place.

So why did Bush-Cheney invade? They still haven't told us the truth about that.
