Hi Koan, I have to keep the thread relatively clear of partisan politics for the most part. Of course IMO I do not think it is partisan if our government is screwing up. On the other hand I could get mad at neighbors and co-workers etc. and want to fight and hurt people but I guess I am more peaceful. Maybe there is something to you reap what you sow. The seeds our nation planted and maybe they were Demonrats who did it put the baddies in power in the mid east, the Shah, Saddam himself a CIA operative, Osama a CIA asset, The House of Saud and their secret police. But during those dates Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon and Reagan come to mind. Bill was not lilly white either. My parents drummed one thing into me. Two wrongs do not make a right. Both sides have failed that does not excuse what is happening now. That is where this problem started not with Bush. He has only compounded it, I think. I may be wrong. <It always amazes me when "people of faith" engage in torture and killing in the name of god. Like this is what a god would want them to do. Good grief-lol. Like god will say atta boy to bush for his death penalty stand for instance. Such drivel makes me wonder how we humans have come as far as we have.> Me too.
