If I am wrong and Hillary is nominated, then she would have a good chance of winning the election since it is hard for the same party to hold onto the White House three terms in a row.

There was a defining event in early September, 2001, that changed all that.

There may be Republican losses in the House and Senate, but unless the Dems pull a rabbit out of the hat between now and 2008, they are not going to be able to convince the voting public that a Democratic president has the cojones to keep the country safe (my apologies to Hillary for the cojones comment).

She is too vulnerable to the demands of the far-left which runs the Democratic party. She has been pretending too much to be a moderate and made the far left feel betrayed.

My take is still just the opposite - she is less vulnerable than the other candidates, because the far-left knows that at heart, she's one of them. Thus, she's the only one who can get away without pandering to them. TWT

My guess is that we should begin to practice saying the words, President John McCain. My prediction is that he will be the finalist. Running mate will be someone from the eastern half of the US.

The baggage of the two clintons will keep her from office. she won't be able to triangulate herself like 'they' did last time.
