well Peter ya must already know my conviction on youth violence... We are way too soft irrespective of the crime.. I still don't see the motivation being important beyond self defence, or defending someone unable to defend themselves... Lock em up near Alert and throw away the key... I think there is a better solution, make the convicted liable for damages, so that just as the victims suffer so does the perpetrator. Imagine if the little brats had to clean up the mess from their tagging for instance and pay for the materials.
