I remember the Pentagon Papers and Ellsworth. He thought he was God and knew more than the President, the Cabinet, the elected Senate and House....and therefore he thought he knew more than the people of the US. He should have stayed in jail for more than 50 years....He broke the law in many ways. And I do agree with you here, in Spades!!! I think that most Americans understand that it is nearly impossible to totally guard the ports, so we need to have some reassurance that Americans are in control of every aspect of the ports. That still might not be enough, but at least it is in our control that way. Ad they first warning of a really serious problem might come from a port operator. I want that guy on our side, not part of the conspiracy.
