I like birds. I wouldn't want to see them wiped out. So, I don't want to see DDT back. I see myself as an animal sharing the earth with all the other animals on it. Because of the great power my brain gives me, I'm a steward of those other animals, that I could exterminate. But I'm not smart enough to see all the interconnections of nature. I have to assume every creature plays it's part in the web of life, and is necessary. We've already driven far too many animals to extinction through stupid rapaciousness and excess. ias.ac.in You and I may live to see the end of the wild elephant, cheetah and other big cats.
