Most of the report intercepts were assayed as 30-gram fire assays by ALS-Chemex labs in Sparks, Nev. Check assays of 1,000-gram screen metallic assays on splits of the significant intercepts are currently being conducted at ALS-Chemex labs. All the sampling were conducted by independent contractors hired by Midway Gold. The results demonstrate that the Dauntless zone is open to the northwest and southeast but the higher-grade gold occurs in chutes within the vein system. A core rig has been mobilized to the property to better define the gold orientation. Two reverse circulation drills are also drilling on the property. An additional 26 holes are in progress to test the extent of the Dauntless zone and similar nearby vein targets.
