Peter, Indeed, they are!

I should warn you about "The House of God." It is borderline pornographic in several places. However, that book has fed into commonly used medical jargon and attitudes over the years, and its message should not be overlooked or missed. It is also acerbically funny as all get-outs. And very true.

Conversely, "Kill As Few Patients As Possible" is gentle and philosophical, almost poetic, if you will. Anything penned by Dr. Oscar London is well worth the read. "Oscar London" is a pseudonym for a Berkeley, California, Internist. - Holly
