Russ how can the stock market be behind the curve on fast rising inventory levels and slowing sales? It is very obvious to anyone. Too many games with hedge funds, screwing with the shorts and slow methodical exit strategies perhaps?

SD MLS update

Feb closings through 2/26 was 1305, about same pace as Jan but Jan got 31 days vs 28 for feb. Feb 2005 was 2463, so there is going to be a big drop.

feb pendings through 26th was 2558. At this pace, feb pendings not going to make 3000 for sure. March was the pick up month for both 2004 and 2005 in terms of closings, at 3791 and 3849 respectively.

if feb pendings are less than 3000, March 06 has no chance of coming close to 04 nor 05.
