The idea that Rapists got lesser sentences because of their life of good works not long ago liberal activists were using that same line to try and keep a killer in California from execution My thoughts: 1) the catholic church should have been forced to close their doors worldwide for a year and to purge predators from the church as penalty for protecting criminal activity 2) the predators found guilty should have been sentenced to 20 yrs hard labour 3) the media should be censured by their regulatory body and policed to spell out facts, not skew news reporting to a left bent or strictly for the sake of political correctness and sensationalism. Without fact, there cannot be justice. Also, gays that molest from positions of trust, like priests, hockey coaches, scout leaders etc., should be treated to the same criminal penalties as perpetrators of "hate crimes". Simply put, these were cold, calculated, premeditated crimes committed by homosexuals predators not merely "moments of weakness"
