Hillary does well in relatively conservative upstate NY. She has overcome in NY what you rightfully claim is her national weakness. She has also done a good job as senator if you measure that in effort expended for the state. She aint no Teddy windbag and she aint a flipflopper. Neither are in her nature.

if they don't want to vote fine... but those who vote because someone told them who to vote for like their union, ward captain. etc.. that is a major problem these people do not spend time to catch up on candidates.

Does Florida vote for Hillary?

Thats a critical question. Clinton won Florida, didnt he? Bush beat two unpopular dems. Hmm! Theres a state that can easily move to the democrats.

Who would women vote for? I suspect they'd like to see a woman in the White House running the show, whoever it is [within reason].

Politics is feminizing around the world. The olde Taleban style politics is a thing of the past most places yet that's how it was most places until 100 years ago. It's in living memory that women weren't even allowed to vote in the USA.
