I must admit i dont always understand him posts but I try. I wasnt criticising him in my post just commnenting on our slide toward a military way of looking at things and i think folks who wont fight by our side move us in this direction more than our enemies do. If we had real allies with real armies, our opponents would recognize this and think twice. What we have now is a "no consequences" situation for tin pot dictators from hugo chavez to koreas kim plus a free shot at america from a whole host of countries whose very survival is owed to the US. those who we have protected over the years.
