If a legitimate medical governing body determines that recommending formula is an unacceptable medical practice and opts to impose that standard on the hospitals and doctors under its licensing purview, that is appropriate for them to do. I'd be surprised, though, if they could justify that determination.

It would be interesting to see, if they end up going ahead with the ban, whether it actually results in more breast feeding. I hope someone studies it.
