Exactly....it seems the biggest problem with crime is that it is not punished 25 years ago you could get 5 years for beating someone half senseless. Liberals social manipulators have, in their wisdom, arranged things so that a person can now get no time and some new jewelry for the same thing. Now, call it a hate crime and the so called stiffer penalties might give an offender a couple years....still not near enough. Bring back the tougher penalties from the good old times before we "progressed" and enforce them. Ask a liberal about victims of crime and they usually get a stupid dazed look on their face and start babbling about some BS rehabilitation scheme.
