Yes, turning the other cheek does have it's value. Right now with this administration in power, we've run out of cheeks. We've even been hit between the cheeks, and we know what the Bible says about that.

Social injustice can be couched in so many ways. Is it social injustice to let primitive ancient cultures stay their course in "poverty"? Or is it social injustice to offer these "backwards" countries loans by which they can improve their infrastructure? Perhaps exploit their resources more readily and perhaps be able to pay off the loans and improve the lot of their people?

These are complex questions that need to be studied deeply.
