The fascinating area of developmental biology is finally getting around to pointing out that development causes important feedback on issues which at root are controlled by genetics, but can be significantly modified by the environmental factors. So it turns out that the old genes vs environment are actually two sides of the same coin as it were. For example, its pretty clear that genes control your brain development, but it is also pretty clear that what you do with your brain, especially in early childhood, also effects your adult brain. I should note that Tutsi's are very tall people, which appears to be genetic vs. the surrounding tribes. Africa has the interesting legacy of having the most genetic diversity between groups, of all humans. So europeans vs asians have less genetic differences then some two groups of Africans, although your eyes would tell you otherwise. One of the pieces of evidence for are species having originated there BTW. I'd find it one of the most astonishing biological facts, if it turns out that all the racial diversity we observe in our species, is for some reason, precluded from brain & behavior differences. It's possible that it is the case, i.e. brain structure and function are MUCH more highly conserved than other body parts, but if so, a theory needs to be put forward with supporting evidence explaining why that happens to be so. Interestingly, African Chimps have even greater genetic diversity which appears to be the result of group isolation. What is fascinating is that researchers are now documenting group social behaviour that is learned from generation to generation in various of the african apes. For example, one group of Baboons has evolved a distinctly less aggressive paternal structure. If such things can be followed for a number of generations, it will have interesting implications for human sociology.Larry Summers brought up mens apparent lead in math and lost his job for that. Not PC. One of the many failings of the American Left IMO.I remember watching in utter amazement that while at 3rd base she was fixing her hair and a ground ball went buy her for a hit. LOL. That would be a great scene in the sort of Chick Flicks my wife likes to watch!
