I think every major CB in the world are keeping close tabs on the global credit, reserves and other liquidity issues.

This is what had been nagging me for some time and I have not found any article that posits how it is going to play out.

Take Japan as an example. JCB knows what their next move is going to be. Say they have decided to announce termination of the deflation fighting ZIR policy on March 15, knowing that will send the yen/US$ trade in the + directin, why wouldn't quietly short a ton of dollars before then?

Similarly, if China knows that they will succumb to US pressure and revalue the yuan soon, can't they position themselves favorable also?

Isn't this the ultimate legal insider trading?
