National income" does not equal "income that accrues to the gov't as taxes.". National income is the income of the nation, not of the government. Bull. You are wrong. The US gov't can not spend money GE makes on the US military. That's what the article I posted was saying..........Russia was spending 40% of its revenues, not the Russian GE's money, on its military. Hell why do you think Russia collapsed.......because Reagan said tear down the wall? Russia was going broke spending too much of its national revenues on its military particularly because of Afghanistan. And we are going down the same road.....thanks to Iraq. Now Tim, you can play semantics all you want, but while you do.....the world and I are moving forward.
