PartyTime had a two state solution last week that seemed more desirable if the Kurds would stay in iraq. Neither is a panacea. Your solution is the most preferable but these days far less likely to succeed. Sunnis need to turn in the jihadists and shiaa have to give sunnis a greater say and defang shiaa militias. Kurds have to understand there will be no greater kurdistan. Then it might work. Odds get longer every day though.
