The exchange between Dipy and me was about Bush unilaterally deciding to attack Iran and the support he would get if he did so. And I said that if he is a smart guy, he can achieve his goal by letting Israel do it for him instead.

Now on the issue of what I think about attacking Iran. Every world citizen has a reason to get worried when nuclear technology falls in the hands of someone who thinks ina very extreme manner. Mr. Ahmedinijad has not shown a sense of maturity and responsibility in his view of the world. Keeping company with Ahmedinijad is Bush with his advocacy of "pre emptive strike."
There are many nations, most of them non-nuclear who fear Bush because of his "pre emptive" doctrine and his having nuclear weapons at his command. Similarly, many would fear Mr Ahmedinojad to be in Bush's shoes which he will be if he acquires nuclear weapons capability. So I am against this Iranian regime getting possession of nuclear weapons capability. But should they be attacked? I say no. Diplomacy will work. Russia has met with preliminary success. But the agreement is not enough. We need to monitor the movement of nuclear material in Iran.
