ORCL Oracle: Would be buyers of the shares into the earnings - Bear Stearns (12.89 +0.06) *****

Bear Stearns believes ORCL will report a strong quarter on March 20th, with the database business executing particularly well and the applications business posting a solid performance. They say underlying the strength, channel checks point to ongoing robust sales in the U.S. technology business and an improving condition in Europe. Given their optimism for the quarter, their outlook for the co's business and based on the current valuation, they would be buyers of the shares into the earnings, regardless of short or long-term investment horizons.
