Peter, With this post, you have echoed my primary reasons for being among the many former California residents, even though I lived there for most of my life.

Ah, you flatter me, and thank you, but I am sure this mass influx is because
of a much more favorable tax structure (no state income tax, reasonable sales tax),
a climate favorable to business, contributing to a healthy economy, and a hands-off philosophy--all in in stark contrast to the nanny state that California has become. - Holly

A lot of the millionaire corps owned by small groups....Simply fragment and distort their business by re incorporating --every couple yrs....It saves BIG on Work Comp because they have no history. They simply incorporate under a "NEW" Corporate Shell Game. Brilliant.
