Senator Warner's 45 Day review is a cooling off period. When interviewed on television, he proposed his plan to question security "before moving forward with the plan." That is unacceptable. Americans simply do not care whether or not the plan is feasible and whether or not there could be a security risk. We don't want the plan under any circumstances. The potential risks are FAR too great to even consider such a scenario. The mere suggestion is out of line, akin to hiring a Saudi or Egyptian company to take over security of the Capitol or the Pentagon. We are friendly with those nations, right?

45 days are not needed.

The answer is NO.

Thanks to Paret a link to the Warner site and the Meet The Press article-----read in entirety.

Note - I am not, absolutely not, pushing Warner's opinion-----simply think it is important to know his thinking as he is Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Want to know how your own representative stands on this and other issues; do a search on the net under their name----most have a web site.
