Sure, he joins the chorus now, but the only one I saw taking an unequivocal gutsy stand PRE-Iraq war was Lewis Lapham editor of Harper's with his prescient piece The Road to Babylon, October 2002.

I would think even the staunchest Bushman would question his and the people around them's judgement on the public's reaction over this port deal..It destroys all his credibility on other issues. I just can't figure it out.

A president and his advisors should have some degree of common sense and good judgement.. How would they act when the chips are really down?

Maybe they are REALLY down now and we just don't know it. This might be just small potatoes.. <g,ng>..
