It is a bit disconcerting to drive between States and getting stopped by the uniforms with the rifles. But they truly are interested in their own in those instances. They have always waved me right through as soon as they realized they were not going to be able to understand what I was saying... ;-)

It is the fellas in the tourist areas that can fall into bad habits. People give them way way too much. A sawbuck should be plenty...
