The Cook poll also shows a large drop for Bush in the last month. The next series of polls will all show the same thing. The public no longer has faith in Bush-Cheney or the GOP congress at all. Their true approval ratings minus blind party loyalty if people were honest would be about 10%.

CBS-Viacom's Owner/CEO endorsed Bush-Cheney in 2004, and had Dan Rather cut loose even though his story was correct and he was probably set up and framed by Karl Rove.

CBS is not biased. In fact, they should be much tougher on Bush-Cheney and the corrupt GOP congress. But they don't want to piss off their CEO who supports Bush. Nor do they want the FCC to come down on them. Which reminds me, CBS also failed to back up Howard Stern against the Bush FCC.

Rupert Murdoch the owner of Fox is also a big Bush supporter, as is General Electric which owns NBC and Disney which owns ABC. Plus, Clear Channel which owns half the radio stations.

Why? Because Bush lets the giant media companies squash the little companies and squelch many real issues, including anything that questions the honesty of huge corporations, lobbyists and whether it's a good idea to let them own and run everything like a big corporate plantation.
