Lefties love polls because its the only place they can pretend they're winning nowadays. Elections count. Polls don't. Polls are notoriously inaccurate and designed to be. Most exist for propaganda and advertising purposes and inaccuracy is designed in. Virtually all polls that are the basis of stories are created to sell something. When you hear a news story talking about poll results you are hearing an advertisement trying to convince you to think a particular way .. because everyone else does. It's no different from "X out of Y doctors prefer ..." or "____ the bestselling truck in Texas" etc. Only stupid people take them seriously as indicators of public mood.
