i don't doubt that he heard about it 'after the fact', but for him to come out so vociferously in favor of the deal while acknowledging that fact certainly raises some question about his administration's handling of this mess

that said, it is totally disingenuous of congress to complain about the 'process' when they are the ones who write the laws defining it

I really believe that a candidate who would return to traditional conservative principles could draw a majority of this country together. Fiscal responsibility. Clean government. End of earmarks. Commitmtne to smaller government, with tax cuts matched with spending cuts. Respect for individual liberties while still defending America. The ability to explain our strengths as a nation like Reagan.

Right now this is a long way from where we stand.
