It's been 5 years only, pal. Because Bushies cheated only. 5 disasterous years. 5 failed years of taking the country in the wrong direction and screwing up everything these Bushies have touched. Come November it's going to be all over but the fat lady singing. The mood in this country is to totally clean house, and I mean the rightwing Bushie congress, all of whom are guilty of some kind of corruption and well-known for pushing a whole litany of failed unpopular programs, especially the disasterous war in Iraq. Bush-Cheney are the new Nixon-Agnew, but worse, except Nixon actually won his elections. Nixon won by 20% in 1972 and was gone less than two years later. Agnew the same. The religious right aren't going to help Bushies much anymore. Most religious people now realize Bushies are crooked, immoral, have lied to them, don't care about the poor and workingclass, don't even care about national security and have basically hoodwinked them. There's a lot of bitterness on the far right vs. Bushies. As well there should be. In private, Bushies call the religious right "wackos" and simply exploit their fears and prejudices for political gain without believing in any of it. And don't think they don't see that their own leader Ralph Reed has been snagged in a corruption trial for taking 2 million of Abramoff's dirty money to defend a gambling casino.
