I prefer not to live in self-satisfied bubble when hidden away there are horrors of my making [by paying taxes and voters supporting bad spending]. Don't worry, I do more than worry about the horrors. < Spend more time with the coffee and the grandchildren> Grandchild ... only one so far.

I even share some guilt in that 30 years ago, I thought governments should do the charitable work to ensure people didn't fall through the cracks. At the time, I didn't understand how governments work in practise rather than theory. They opened the crack to a superhighway for swarms to rush through to collect the great rewards in the world of dependency [compared with their other options].

Mqurice
