These guys have been short-sighted on the consequences side from the start. In all areas. It's hard to believe we elected these incompetent people to run our government.

Even if you support their philosophy (which I don't) you have to acknowledged that they are plain crappy planners and functional administrators. Everything they touch turns into a disaster.

The best hope is to just handcuff these guys for the next almost 3 years. Don't let them break anything else.

If the Iraq oil had been evenly distributed between the hold outs
of the 3 groups, they would have split up in 3 countries long ago.
