Oh, you really need several layers of duct tape on your boots or slippers before they are really comfortable! I had a calendar with 365 ways to use duct tape, and it didn't even include the things I used it for. I have a T shirt that says "I can fix anything! Where's the duct tape?" The corn palace is redecorated every year with dried corn ears of different colors that are grown especially for the purpose. It's a modern building now, designed for heavy use on the inside. They have to redo it every year because the birds continuously mine the corn until it is all gone. The year I saw it the theme was Lewis and Clark, which suited me just fine. I bought one of those blankets woven with the same pattern there, and I love it.
