There is no defense, in my mind, for your misguided premise indicating that Bush invaded Iraq too soon. Bush was too timid and invaded Iraq too late rather than too soon. We entered Iraq to protect America. For all you know, doing so has prevented a major attack on America (not at all unlikely given all we know of Saddam's support for terrorism, and of course Putin's statements previously noted).
