Why are you concerned with my concern about an Iraqi civil war?

Like I said, I was just curious. It seems to me that the salient factor in Iraq is the breakdown of authority and that it matters less whether it's a civil war or something else. Since I'm usually the one doing the serious differentiating, I find myself in the unusual position where someone else is differentiating something that I'm missing. So curious minds want to know.

Merely accuracy in reporting.

That explains what exercises you, which, as I look back, was technically the question I ask so I can't complain that I didn't get the answer I wanted. The answer I would appreciate is why you think this particular "inaccuracy" is relevant and why I should be differentiating.
