I think the reason Herb stays with the Overstock "story", is because it's simply a good story!! That was the most amazing interview I've ever seen on CNBC this morning, and I agree with Herb, that CEO is nuts!! What an embarrassment for his shareholders. If I owned Overstock, after seeing that ceo performance this morning, I'd have dumped it like a hot potato. I'm embarrassed to say that Overstock is headquartered in my state! :-( I'll betcha that Cramer, Greenberg, CNBC are all vindicated. That CEO ought to be paying attention to business and the stock price would take care of itself. All you have to do is take a quick glance at the consensus forward earnings estimates for '06 and '07 and look where they've gone in the last 90 days and it isn't hard to see that the stock is justifiably and rationally dropping like a rock for good reason!! IMHO :-)
