Croc, The revenue is a joke and it does lead one to believe that there are other reasons and interests in doing this. I can't help but believe that if the present administration succeeds with this first round there will be much larger sales attempted in the future. In my estimation fracturing of the land base in the Tongass and other National Forests is the biggest threat to the environment of these areas. Resource use, done under proper protections, is an almost nonexistent issue comparatively.
