Listen, I don't buy into a big difference between Reps and Dems. But you have to admit, with the Reps in control of both houses and the executive, the corruption and sell out have gotten way out of hand. Would it have been better or worse with the Dems in charge? I think it would have been better. Would it have been nearly as bad with a split of power? Certainly not.

Look into the DeLay plan, it wasn't casual individual influence peddling, it was serious strategy for party wide legislation for dollars. Unprecedented and ugly.
