everyone is NOT complaining. the pinheaded leftist Bush haters like you are complaining..along with MSNBS and CNN, two cable channels that wish they had HALF of the audience of Fox.

"I don't think ANYONE can tell you whether the levees will be TOPPED right now"........ that according to what President Bush was told by th weather people.

Later, Brown was praising the President saying he WAS engaged and asked questions.

There was NOTHING wrong with the President saying "we are ready to help"....I suspect that his people were telling him that we WERE ready.

AND BEYOND ALL THAT, THE PRESIDENT , ON TELEVISION, TOLD THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THAT HE TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SLOW RESPONSE AND IF THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR PINHEADS LIKE YOU, I SUGGEST YOU GO BACK AND LET YOUR MOMMY, MOLLY IVENS, GIVE YOU SOME SUGARTIT.

THen ask Mayor Nagil if his city is "chocolate" enough yet.

Why should Bush have been concerned about a little storm when the Mayor of New Orleans and the Governor of Louisiana didn't give a crap? At some point personal responsibility has to come into play. The president of the U.S. just doesn't have the ability to make sure that each and every one of us doesn't stub our toe and nor can he stop a hurricane. He's a powerful man, but not that powerful. At some point, the people affected by Katrina have to say to themselves "gee, maybe it isn't such a good idea to live below sea level in an area prone to hurricanes, and if I do, it ain't nobody's fault but my own if my furniture gets wet".

what you've got to realize is that everyone knew that every storm that hits close to new orleans has the potential of breaching levees

stop blaming one man

there is blame to spread everywhere over decades

no storm ever hit this city this bad

and it's not even the worst case scenario

yet the politicians are only approving rebuilding of cat 3 levee system

wait till a cat 5 hits

you can kiss NO and it's people goodbye
