Glenn...why don't the muslim people rise up and revolt against their dictators and western occupiers? If they want to control their own destiny, they need to take charge. In my opinion, they will never make a lasting change with suicide bombers. They need much better organization and methods.

I visited Israel about 13 years ago and while there I met a Jew that had immigrated from Iraq. His family traced their roots in Iraq all the way back to the time of Daniel. They had lived peacefully their the whole time. His opinion was that everything got upset by western involvement causing the Iraqis to turn on the Jews after well over 2,000 years of peaceful cohabitation.

Sorry if it seems parochial - but I know from what I have read and seen them do in Iraq, Iran and now over the cartoons. They seem a little/lot maladjusted - perhaps missed anger-management 101 (or flunked it). Maybe I just haven't seen the Muslim Lite that you are used too. Womens rights seem totally foreign to them!! I guess you are saying the French just totally mistreated them!! I DO know a French person and it seems totally out of the question that they could have mistreated them that much... but heck it could be I guess. Thank you for your time...paul
