I saw that program...the Army Corp of Engineers had been warning for years, tried to get funds. Bush cut those funds, remember. Bush said he was "fully prepared" beforehand, remember. Then he didn't show up or give up any part of his vacation until well after NOLA flooded...while it's fact the levees would have broken anyway, Bush was not, as he claimed, prepared. He didn't help, and his statements after the flood - who'd have guessed...show a disconnect to reality at best or an outright liar.
