For one thing, I didn't know that the money was going to Egypt for defense -- is this true? Second, I don't think of Egypt as that much less of a friend than Israel. It's certainly one of the least insidious entities among the Arab countries.

How can you call them a friend when their existance causes animosity from 1.2 billion people on the planet? I would call them a liability...
