OBL probably figured it would help Bush in the election. Bush serves OBL's purposes. Its bizarre how events have conspired to make things worse. Sure...but the dittoheads believe obl inadvertently helped bush in the election by producing a tape critical of him...I am cracking up... Part of the problem is they see OBL only as evil and not clever. They assign his successes to some supernatural entity like the devil, not him. Sso they don't see how OBL could have used Bush for his own devices. have you been following the exchange btween me and Tench? he seems to subscribe to this notion...in his mind it's possible that obl might have beleved that, after listening to him on tape, US voters would rally and vote against bush, hence the inadvertent help....LOL... Ten is in a dilemma. Intellectually, he sees why people are upset with Bush......and he is too, but emotionally, he is still behind his two Bush votes and the GOP. That creates a problem........so one minute you may see him mildly criticize Bush while in the next, defend him and his policies fairly aggressively. IMO its a process a number of Republicans seem to be going through of late.
