I built a new house in '03 and used wood switch & outlet plates. All of the trim & doors are stained dark oak and it would have looked funny without them.

A person where I work is planning to get her basement finished. She got two quotes for something like $85k and $92k. I only paid $115k for my house less than 6 years ago...
