While I generally think balanced budgets are a good thing I'm not sure it should be in the constitution.

As for term limits, I'm not as against them as I used to be, but can't really be called a supporter yet.

Peter, A balanced budget is the best thing to have, but an amendment would tie the hands of an administration from acting on unexpected emergencies, or other events, when action is required ASAP.

I am all for a term limit amendment. We can't afford to have any more Ted Kennedy's.
