And the futures' so bright ,you gotta wear shades ...

latest metrics of money inflows to Funds and Brokers and amount of trading , otpitons & equities have been the greatest since 2000 ....not to mention all those extra loose petro-dollars out there that have to be parked somewhere ....they might not like US , but we will still be around in 20yrs .

;)

Amen
or
Say it again.

Thank You Bob, Thank You Dave, Thank You Matt

I am glad to win the prize, no, I am more than glad, I am really glad. I didn't expect to win and just gave it a best shot effort. I am very happy to see your generosity in awarding a prize to PlayItDown and want to be the first to offer congratulations, I really have a reason for appreciating his great post. <s>

I do think that SI exists today for two reasons, the efforts of the current owner's to ensure the continuity of this site and more importantly, because SI has never failed to offer valuable market commentary to community members. I am proud to feel that I am part of this community, I always have been and know that this is right, because this community is one to be proud of.

Thank You Silicon Investor

The cyberbeer is on me tonight !

Bob, believe it or not I agree 100% with your separation of politics from the investment side. My personal problem (I have lots as you know;-) and that which some others like myself who frequent the investment side BUT also are politicos have, is that the ignore list in its present format makes no distinction and therefore a person who has good investment knowledge like myself ends up having people question my credibility because when they look at the ignore list which is overweight with political thread accumulations they see 5 times as many ignores compared to the person who posts exclusively on the investment side might have.

I wonder if there is some way to separate them or is that too much work for you? I would be nice to see two different ignore lists for people because the way it is now is not a fair representation of a persons worth or contributions.

BTW those of us who didn't win, do we get a booby prize of some kind?

Regards
