re: Just ask John Fowler and Jim McMannis.

Why don't you. I've suggested alternate policy, all you do is whine about partisan and ABB and how we should all be accepting of the worst stinking policy in history, because MAYBE any alternative is worse.

Give me a break... you still think the folks in Iraq are the equivalent of your garbage man.

It does become quite a burden defending Bush, however. The controversy over the ports deal, for example, might be much more about politics than about substantial security issues, but there is no excuse for the Bush administration to ignore the politics. And it's quite silly to claim that Bush is all about results over politics, because after a while, we need to see some results.

Its not only about politics. There is a real danger in letting a Muslim country control the ports. You talk about appeasement....what is letting the UAE control American ports? Maybe its not appeasement, but it sure looks like stupidity to me. And that would not be out of the ordinary for this administration.

Like I said before, Bush has created some very bad feelings among the people of the world, particularly Muslims. We have to take many more precautions than we once did.

BTW Bush thinks nothing of forcing a plane to turnaround and take the American, Cat Stevens, back to England because he converted to Islam, but he lets the Muslims of UAE operate our ports. What? Cat Stevens was planning to blow up JFK? What kind of hypocritical BS is this? You tell me.

Wake up, Ten; you're on the wrong side.
