That was easy enough to document. It's nearly 2 1/2 years later & this thread has compiled overwhelming evidence that the MSM is more than quite liberally biased & the DNC is not just a typical opposition party. The evidence shows it's much worse than that. The MSM has given up any pretense of objectivity. Yes they still refuse to admit it, but we're not even talking about liberal bias anymore. Take any issue that has made front page news (NSA warrantless wiretapping, Katrina, alleged abuses at Gitmo, "Bush lied", stolen elections, Bush & "fake but accurate" National Guard documents, etc. Every time something breaks, the MSM begins their reporting at hysterical & steadily ratchets it up from there. We're talking about how the MSM uncritically reports the smears & slanders from leading dem politicians on the front page above the fold (they give similar treatment to the anti-war crowd & every other anti-American, anti-Bush zealot). The smears & slanders get repeated ad nauseam until critical first impressions have been cemented in the general public. Eventually, when the evidence is clear that the libs were smearing & slandering, the MSM suddenly goes silent & loses all interest in the story. At best those facts get a couple of paragraphs buried deep in a related story (it's about CYA, not informing the public). We're talking about an MSM that willingly reports illegal classified information that is vital to our national security..... IF they can mislead the public that the Bush Admin is up to no good AGAIN! We're talking about the MSM not just getting their facts wrong when a story breaks (always pro lib or anti-Bush), but long after they have been discredited they're repeating myths & known lies time & time again. We're talking about the MSM editorializing on the front page & pretending it's hard news. The slant to the news is almost indistinguishable from DNC Talking Points. We're talking about weekly (almost daily) bogus polls that are completely flawed from sampling to demographics to the slant of the questions all making front page above the fold news. These polls are reported as if they accurately reflect public opinion about the issues the MSM hysterically misreported as discussed above. We're talking about it being a one way street. When was the last time the MSM hysterically reported a story that was harmful to any leading lib politico? When have they ever continued to misinform the public once it became clear it was a smear job? I could go on & on & on. No the MSM is not just liberally biased. They are now even worse than a liberal propaganda outlet. Michael Moore should be proud of the MSM's accomplishments. The same goes for the DNC. They follow similar patterns as the MSM only they are even quicker to lie & intentionally misinform the public. They are more hysterical, their lies more transparent & their rhetoric is harsher than the MSM. And they are more reluctant than the MSM to ever admit they got it wrong even when all the evidence shows they lied & intentionally misled the public. They don't just oppose. They actively obstruct even when it could harm national security. The DNC is not your typical opposition party. They are quickly moving beyond being a disloyal opposition party. This thread has plenty of evidence to back all of this up.
