Ray,
Re: "paying the price" I was just enjoying the fun. You have never seemed particularly critical of people, so I don't have you pegged as one to watch out for. But I do have you pegged as a person with a sense of humor.

Where have I been? Reading up on Pattern Recognition, genotyping, proper display of statistical data (Edward Tufte stuff), writing poetry, writing essays on religion, writing a little satire. You know, the usual stuff.

Drawing me into conversation? I removed my subject mark for this thread only a couple of days or so ago, so you get an A+ for a job well done.

The Entire Flaw in PnF is there is No Time Function

I used to think that it was a flaw, too. But it's event-based, where the events are based on price movement. Daily MA's are also event-based, but the event is the passing of 24 hours. Those 24-hours having zilch zero nada to do with the price, so the price-based event that PnF uses is superior here (only slightly, as MA's have a pretty good correlation with PnF support and resistance lines). Dorsey Wright PnF site deals a little with momentum, but I prefer the more conventional uses of momentum. I hear you about the volume, though. When I get my artificial neural networks in better shape I'll certainly incorporate volume, because I'm certain that it is significant.
