The list of Bush misdeeds is indeed lengthy. Too lengthy. Do you recommend a blind's-eye? Not at all. But most of what you would put on such a list is based on left wing perspective and countered by two things, 1)A counter perspective from the right wing that nullifies any potential to take positive, corrective, and/or constructive action, 2) reactionary right wing perspectives on damage being done by left wing misdeeds. The right wing has its own long list of problems that it associates with the left wing which are countered in exactly the same way. So what are we left with? What can we predict as outcomes of all this? Well, we are seeing the results in substantial ways. We are left with bickering and grumbling that has paralyzed our nation politically, economically, and in our human infrastructure. We have raised a couple of generations of children who are not competitive in the global community. This trend is continuing. We are losing our grip on common culture that is cohesive and productive, while other regions of the world are ramping up toward Superpowerdom. We have two choices going forward, 1) continue the current mode (and continue the downward spiral of societal decomposition, or 2) Try another way... see below: A)We can promote autonomy for all, manage the development process in a positive and constructive manner, help solve problems, demonstrate and encourage commitment, establish mutual expectations and benefits, promote excellence, expect mutual respect and support models of respect and cooperation, and gradually help to strengthen the confidence of every individual American to participate in a future desirable state of being, as individuals and for America. This begins with establishing a shared dream of America and its future. Currently we are too busy patting our selves on the back for being able to knock down the other guy's house of cards at every opportunity. Feel free to continue the status quo if you are having lots of fun with it. I certainly wouldn't want to spoil anyone's fun with new ideas. Since we are living in a free society nobody is forced to form a United and beneficial alliance, that is a choice...currently not being made. However, a society that is not able to change through periodic renewal and growth toward the benefits of its members, is doomed. Let me know when you are ready for ... B) C) D) E)
