The rightwing is totally nuts if you ask me. Just insane. Everything they're for turns out to be wrong, disasterous and dishonest. If they were trying to be wrong they couldn't be more wrong.

Bush-Cheney-Delay led by example. They cheated, stole, lied and talked about "God told me to invade Iraq". So what do you expect from their mindless followers. Bush's base includes the nuttiest and greediest characters, it's an unholy alliance between the two, which is why it makes sense Enron hired Ralph Reed for Bush. The two worlds united. And now Reed is busted in the Abramoff scandal. Then 9-11 (which if Bush didn't have arranged, he should have for pure Machivellianism, Rove is still running in 9-11 fumes) released all the pent-up superstitions in the religious right, all those End Of Days fantasies. Plus, it opened the gates of hell for the greediest war pfotieers and gas gougers. So all about greed and corruption, mixed in with Old Testament God and Revelations paranoia.
